So far so good..., December 7, 2011 Amazon Verified Purchase This review is from: LG LCRT1510SV 1.5 Cu Ft Counter Top Microwave Oven With True Cook Plus and EZ Clean Oven, Silver Color (Kitchen) Well after researching many ~150$ units I took a chance and so far its been very good. Basically it seems all sub 300$ microwaves are about equal in reliability, which is not as good as it used to be; about 5 year lifespan vs the old long lived 10+yr models. So pending any major problems you can consider this a good review (i'll update when/if it dies). Following the instructions I learned many things; you set your zip code so the microwave can change its sensorcook power to match your altitude; Also you can turn the sound on and off!!! this feature is amazing to me, our old panasonic was LOUD, with people on different schedules, its nice to not make food and wake the house. we just leave the sound off and its a lot more pleasant. also the microwave itself is much quieter in operation then expected.
additionally the product description lists the box dimensions, the microwave is much smaller approx 12.5h x 21.75w x 16d inch(s).

The MW is pretty well powered as it should be. Size is large enough to reheat a big bowl of rice but efficient enough to boil a cup of water in 1 minute. Most annoying thing is the end of cooking bell which can not be disabled and it keeps beeping till you open the door. Once emailed, LG customer service did actually replied after 3 days that the beep can not be disabled.
